She attended West Virginia University, Florida State University and graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors Degree in Communication, Minor in Theater Performance. There, she studied theater and television production. While she was studying in UFC, she acted as the victim in the Psycho Soundstage Attraction (now called as the Shrek 4-D Soundstage) at the Universal Studios Orlando.

In 2004, Cheryl Hines leaped to supporting roles and did the comedy Along Came Polly. Cheryl continued to amuse on television with bit parts in Everybody Loves Raymond, Ask Rita, and Reno 911!. The laughter continued when she landed the role of a mother tiger on the animated television series Father of the Pride. In addition to her screen work, she has also accepted to do a one performance piece in +One Woman Show. She again amused a lot of people with her performance.
